Helldivers 2 Cant Link Psn Account

Helldivers 2 on PC to Require PlayStation Network Account Linking

Update Expected to Roll Out in June

Mandatory Account Link for Continued Play

Helldivers 2, the action-packed cooperative shooter, will soon require PC players to link their profile to a PlayStation Network (PSN) account. While this was previously optional at launch, an upcoming update will make it mandatory for continued play.

Players will have the option of using an existing PSN account or creating a new one. The game will display a QR code and a link to a log-in page for Sony's PlayStation Network. Once linked, players will be able to access the game's full functionality, including online multiplayer and cross-platform play.

The reason for this change is not yet clear. Some speculate that it may be a move by Sony to strengthen its ecosystem and encourage cross-platform play between PS5 and PC. Others believe it could be related to ongoing anti-cheat measures to ensure a fair and enjoyable gaming experience.

The update is expected to roll out in June, so players who have yet to link their PSN account are advised to do so before then. Failure to link accounts could result in being unable to play the game.
